Interview With Marc Schiwek, a 22-year-old Entrepreneur From Luxembourg

Thank you for having me. I was originally born in Germany and moved to Luxembourg later on. From a young age, I was always interested in the world of business and technology. I started my first company while still in college, and after completing my Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on User-Experience-Design, I still hold on the role of managing director at my own digital agency.

Marc Schiwek

That’s impressive. Can you tell us more about your agency and the services you offer?

My agency provides custom User-Interface-Solutions with a big focus engaging and converting User-Experience and digital marketing for businesses, we have recently expanded our operations international to offer additional services by employing multiple very talented developers. This has helped us to address the developer shortages in the Luxembourgish market and has allowed us to continue to grow and thrive further.

Can you tell us a bit about the clients your digital agency works with?

We work with a range of clients, from software companies to startups to even parts of the German government.

That’s really interesting. Can you tell us more about the software companies you work with?

Sure. We work with some of the biggest names in the software industry, existing way before my time haha. We help them develop and implement cutting-edge solutions to improve conversion and to stay ahead of the curve.

And what about startups? How do you work with them?

We love working with startups. They’re often on the cutting edge of innovation, and we enjoy helping them bring their ideas to life. We provide them with the digital solutions they need to get off the ground, from web design and development to branding and marketing.

That’s really cool. And you also work with the German government?

Yes, we’re proud to be able to serve the German government with our youth and expertise. We work with them on super interesting projects regarding marketing on an international level. Unfortunately, I can’t really tell you more about this right now, but I am sure you we will see as soon as we launch. It’s an honor to be able to contribute to the work of the government in this way.

That’s impressive. Thank you for sharing with us, Marc. What else do you have going on right now?

In addition to running my own agency, I am also a chief marketing manager at another agency in Luxembourg. This agency focuses on trademark registration, an important service for businesses looking to protect their intellectual property.

Can you explain more about trademark registration and why it is important for businesses?

Trademark registration is the process of registering a trademark with the government in order to protect a company’s brand and intellectual property. This is important because it ensures that other businesses cannot use the same or similar trademark without permission, and it also helps to prevent consumer confusion. By registering a trademark, a business can establish its brand and set itself apart from competitors.

This sounds really important. I haven’t actually thought about this, yet I may need to look further into this. In addition to your work in the business world, you and many young entrepreneurs are also known for your commitment to maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Can you tell us more about that?

Yes, I believe it is important to have a balanced life and to make time for the things that are important to you outside of work, especially when managing two agencies hahaha. For me, this includes my interests in cooking and interior design. I love to cook, and I am a big fan of stylish and well-designed kitchens. I have also a big passion for animal welfare, since I own a dog myself, and I support local animal shelters whenever I can.

That’s great to hear. Is there anything else you would like to share with our readers?

I am very grateful for the opportunities that I have been given, and I am committed to continuing to work hard and make a positive impact not only in the business world but also everyone’s world. I would like to encourage aspiring entrepreneurs to never give up on their dreams and to always strive for success.
